Chippewa River State Trail
Chippewa River State Trail offers bicycling, walking, running, in-line skating, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. This trail extends 30 miles between the Cities of Eau Claire and Durand, offering a surface that is ten feet wide and paved with smooth asphalt. All bridges along the trail are wooded-decked and railed for riding safety. |

Elroy-Sparta State Trail
The first rail-to trails conversion in the United States, this pathway runs along a portion of the abandoned Chicago & North Western Railroad and passes through three rock tunnels. Bicycle rentals are available. In winter months, the trail is popular for snowmobiling. |
